Things are coming into view as we have seven weeks of play to analyze. Remember this however, College Football Teams play with much more inspiration and emotion than the NFL. It’s not all about the Stats. If it was everyone would pick at 60% + and only 5% of handicappers can!
(Friday night 7:15 pm) Lay -9.5 on the surprising 6-0 BYU Cougars home vs 3-3 Oklahoma State Cowboys. We just won with these Cougars and the Sports Executioner (SE) thinks the Cougars are still being undervalued. Every stat favors the Cougars except a slight edge in passing. That is always a concern when laying points but our SE team gives BYU +4 for just playing at home on a raucous Friday night. There are no drinks being served at LaVell Edwards Stadium but somehow the students and the alums find a way to get to be buzzed by game time. Lay the number.
(9:00 am PST ) Take +5 on the 4-2 Louisville Cardinals at home vs the 6-0 Miami Hurricanes. Every handicapper has the Hurricanes. We are going against the country and taking a tough Cardinal team at home that can run, pass, and plays comparable defense. The last two weeks the Hurricanes have beat Cal by 1, and VT by 4. Coach Cristobal is a bad close game coach. Give me the points and a cover at home! (If we win we look brilliant, if we lose we should have followed the trend.Ha!)
(9:00 am PST ) Lay -6.5 on the 6-0 Indiana Hoosiers home vs the 5-1 Nebraska Cornhuskers. How good are the Hoosiers? Dam Good. Rourke their QB has passed for 1800 yards has 14 TD’s and 2 Int’s. Raiola the freshman QB for the Cornhuskers has bee good (9 TD’s 3 Int’s 1358 yards). Both teams have a top 10 defense. But the Hoosiers run, pass, have 54% 3rd down conversion (43% for Cornhuskers) and they are getting zero respect. This game is on Fox and Big Noon Kickoff will broadcast before kickoff! Can’t see any way the Hoosiers don’t win, and a cover looks promising!
(7:00pm PST) HATCHET PLAY-TOP PLAY OF THE DAY. HATCHET PLAYS ARE 4-0 THIS YEAR. Take the 4-2 Oregon State Beavers + 7 (Buy 1/2 point) home in Reser Stadium vs the surprising 5-1 UNLV Rebels. Points will be flying around in this game maybe over 70. The Rebels only converts 35% on 3rd down vs the Beavers + 56%. I love this stat at home in a tough stadium in a Saturday night. Time for the Rebels to come down from their Vegas High. Beavers to cover and may win outright.
(7:00 pm PST) Take 4-2 Arkansas Razorbacks +3 at home vs 5-1 LSU Tigers (Buy to +3) . These teams are close statistically. The Tigers have a better passing game, the Razorbacks can run. The edge for the Razorbacks is they run, have a slightly better defense, are playing at home, and have a real shot to make waves at Razorback Stadium at home. Take the points!
(7:45pm PST) Take 3-3 +1.5Florida Gators home vs 3-3 Kentucky Wild Cats. Kentucky has a much better defense , Florida a better offense. Tough season so far for the Gators and they just lost a tough one vs Tennessee by 6 while Wild Cats lost to Vandy so both teams looking for a win. Revenge games in the last two years in college are 65-29. Last year Wildcats beat the Gators. Gainsville will be rocking. Gators get the win in a close one.

6-0 Iowa State looks tough to beat at home vs 3-3 UCF. -13.5 points is a lot, but it could happen
4-2 Rutgers at home laying only -4.5 vs a very bad UCLA team looks promising. Almost took this game but stayed away because bad teams eventually find their legs.
